Teenagers and young adults often become curious about legal and illegal drugs and experimentation is very common. It’s natural for teens to push boundaries and take risks as they try to ‘fit in’. At that age they may feel indestructible and will often fail to see the longer-term consequences of their actions. But substance misuse is one of the most common risks to a young person’s health and development. All drugs have the potential to cause harm and many are addictive.
