SilverCloud - Space from Health Anxiety
Distress and anxiety are common symptoms for those experiencing health concerns. The Space from Health Anxiety elearning and coaching programme includes a range of tools, activities and psychoeducation to help you better manage anxiety relating to your health. Using
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, you can learn to better understand your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours and learn how to make positive changes relating to your anxiety.
You will be supported by a real person as you explore the exercises, who will keep you on track and can answer your questions.
Skills and Strategies
You will learn to better understand the relationship between your emotional and physical symptoms, while learning to change your physical reactions to improve your mood. You will be introduced to the Thoughts, Feelings, and Behaviours (TFB) cycle so you can better understand and identify your emotions associated with your feelings of anxiety, while also learning the importance of lifestyle choices relating to anxiety.
Positive Thinking
Learning about negative thinking and its impact on mood, you will be able to identify and challenge your unhelpful, negative thoughts. You will also learn why you shouldn’t avoid fears and anxiety, and instead should use gradual exposure to face your fears.
Forging Ahead
You will walk away with tools and techniques to prepare for a relapse by identifying warning signs, managing your triggers, and setting future goals. You will also be encouraged to build a support network so you can continue to think and feel better in the future.
