SilverCloud - Space in Chronic Pain from Depression and Anxiety
This elearning programme and coaching combination provides educational on how living with chronic pain can impact your wellbeing. The programme uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to help you understand how living with chronic pain can be linked to low mood and worry and how to manage the difficult thoughts, feelings and behaviours associated with this.
You will be supported by a real person as you explore the exercises, who will keep you on track and can answer your questions.

Inactivity and lack of motivation are common issues associated with depression. Throughout the programme, you will learn how to motivate yourself to engage in enjoyable activities or ones that provide you a sense of achievement. You will also learn key strategies for tackling the unpleasant physical feelings associated with depression.

Learning about thinking traps will help you to identify your negative, unhelpful, or ‘hot thoughts’ so you can take action with alternative ways of thinking and helpful self-talk.

To deal with worry, you will learn techniques such as ‘worry time,’ problem solving, and drawing attention back to the present moment. You will also be able to recognise how becoming overly concerned and anxious with your physical health can lead to the development of unhelpful behaviours, along with methods of approaching and changing these behaviours.
